Dell Inspiron One 23 review

Dell's revised Inspiron 23 offers strong performance in its most expensive configuration, but it's hard to see why anyone would buy it instead of the XPS One 27.

Dell’s Inspiron 23 is a confused product. On the one hand it’s an Inspiron, and in the company’s brand mythology that means affordable. Yet on the other, this clearly isn’t an entry-level product. Pricing starts at $999, already more than most...

Dell Inspiron 23 (2350)

Dell gives the Inspiron 23 (2350) a dual-hinge design that lets users comfortably use the system in an extensive range of seated and standing positions.

Versatile screen height and tilt adjustment. Few pre-loaded apps. Speedy day to day performance. HDMI in and out. Discrete 3D graphics. 12GB of memory

Some screen bounce in horizontal position. Black colored USB 3.0 ports. Low volume on speakers

The Dell Inspiron 23 (2350) ($1,399.99 direct) brings high-end features like a dual-hinge height and tilt mechanism down from the Dell's XPS line down to the more affordable model lines. It's a good blend of design and performance, giving power users...

Dell Inspiron One 2305 review: Dell Inspiron One 2305

Dell Inspiron One 2305

Superior design; Blu-ray and HDMI input make it a complete digital media hub; discrete graphics card lends gaming capability.

Not as fast as other all-in-ones in its price range; maddening Dell DataSafe pop-ups.

Dell's higher-end Inspiron One 2305 has everything we'd look for in a home entertainment PC. It's not the fastest computer out there, but it's capable where it counts, and even plays some games. Forgive Dell's intrusive bundled backup software and...

23-inch Dell all-in-one hits the right notes

Dell's Inspiron One 2330 all-in-one doesn't take any great innovative leaps, but sometimes all you need is a basic computer. This is that PC.

The ; has a reasonably attractive design, and a surprisingly broad selection of video and audio connectivity options.

Aside from the AV inputs and its not-unattractive looks, nothing about this mainstream PC really stands out.

Dell's workmanlike Inspiron One 2330 won't change your life, but it will meet all of your basic mainstream desktop needs while also providing a few useful extras.

Dell Inspiron One 23

Need to hook your VCR up to a Windows 8 touch screen PC? Dell has the PC you want in the Dell Inspiron One 23.

10-finger touch screen. 1080p HD screen. 15-month McAfee protection. WiDi compatible. Clean desktop mode. Plethora of inputs: HDMI-in, VGA-in/out, Composite AV video in.

No Blu-ray. Needs height adjustment. Duller colors on monitor. USB 3.0 ports aren't blue. Weak integrated graphics.

Dell Inspiron One 2305 (IO2305-4400ELS)

You won't be disappointed, but the Dell Inspiron One 2305 (IO2305-4400ELS) all-in-one touch-screen desktop won't stir your soul.

Touch screen. Nice price. Core i3 processor is fast enough for day-to-day tasks.

Dell Stage interface is playing catch-up. No HDMI, no Blu-ray, and no TV tuner: limited to online HD content. External power brick. A little bloatware.

Dell Inspiron One 2305 (Blu-ray)

The Dell Inspiron One 2305 (Blu-ray) is a solid all-in-one media desktop PC, but it lacks the applications to make it a worthwhile touch-screen computer.

Sleek design. 1080p HD video. Multitouch screen. Blu-ray player. No bloatware. Attractive design. Wireless keyboard and mouse.

No applications to make the touchscreen functionality worthwhile.

Dell Inspiron One 2305 (IO2305-3114MSL)

The Dell Inspiron One 2305 (IO2305-3114MSL) is one of the least expensive touchscreen desktop PCs out there, but while you're waiting for something to load you may start to reconsider your purchase.

Touchscreen. Full 1080p HD screen. 750GB hard drive. Wireless keyboard and mouse. No bloatware. Sub $900 price.

Slower than rivals. Dell Stage interface is playing catchup with HP TouchSmart interface. No Blu-ray and no TV tuner, so it's limited to online HD content.

Dell Inspiron 23 review

One of the most versatile, sharpest all-in-one PCs around

Excellent design ; Plenty of ports ; Versatile use cases

No 802.11ac

The Inspiron 23 didn't have to do much to remain a competitive all-in-one option, but a few improvements maintain its status.
