Dell Vostro 200

The Vostro 200 is the first desktop PC in Dell's new small-business line of computers and peripherals. The machine's "200" designation might lead you to believe that it's a step above entry level, but from what we saw, it's more like a 100-level...

Small case ; SATA-connected optical drive

No tool-less components ; Optical drive catches on front panel

This entry-level small-business PC is inexpensive but offers no noteworthy features other than Dell's business services.

Dell Vostro 200

The Dell Vostro 200 is the first Dell desktop specifically tailored for small business.

No extra included software (aside from Google Desktop and Toolbar). Less expensive alternative to OptiPlex desktops. Intelligent port cover(s). Dual-core performance. Good expansion space. Small-business-oriented features, such as 10GB DataSafe online...

New model name may confuse new users. No included Internet security software.

Dell Vostro 200 (Mini Tower)

In early July, Dell launched its Vostro line of desktops and notebooks. The Vostro 200 ($899 direct, E-Value Code OC brde2ph) is a business desktop for the smallish (1 to 30 employees) independent office that can't or won't staff a full-time IT person....

New model name may confuse new users. No included Internet security software

Dell's first small-business desktop is basically the business doppelganger of the Inspiron: similar case, specs, and configurations, but it is all business and comes with Vstore services that tailor it for the SMB space.

Dell Vostro 200

An effective and reliable tool for the office which also contributes to the décor

Customisable online ordering, Good graphics performance, Dual HDD for greater data safety, Beautifully designed exterior

Exhaust fan was disconnected on arrival, Internal access and drive removal requires a screwdriver

Dell Vostro 200 Mini-Tower

Maintenance software, quiet operation, plentiful front accessible ports

Little to no upgrade potential (particularly storage)

In many respects the Vostro, though aimed at small businesses, is just another PC. However the layout, safety features and included maintenance tools and services make this a promising choice for businesses searching for a no-fuss solution.

Dell Vostro 200

Dell's Vostro range might start at an eye catchingly low price but those options do tend to make things mount up.

Dell Vostro 200 desktop PC

The Dell Vostro 200 is the first desktop PC in Dell's new small-business line of computers and peripherals.

Dell will soon begin selling a step-up Vostro model that may sport a more sophisticated case. For now, however, Dell's OptiPlex line offers better hardware and much of the same services as the Dell Vostro 200, and PCs in that line don't cost much more....

Pefect for Office Environment

I've always built from scratch but I'm starting to change my ways. I'd rather buy and start gaming instead of figuring out if components are compatible.

Affordable

Basic - Perfect for Simple Users
