Gateway One ZX6951-53

With the ZX6951-53, Gateway produces another jack-of-all-trades desktop for the multimedia-consuming-and-creating user. It's an all-in-one touchscreen desktop with a big screen, powerful processor, and Blu-ray.

Good multimedia performance. Large 1080p True HD screen. Blu-ray drive. Touchscreen. Wireless keyboard and mouse. TV Tuner. Internal Power supply. Ambient lighting. IR remote.

Bloatware. No 802.11 a/n 5GHz support. No HDMI in port. No eSATA. Only 60-day subscription to Norton Internet Security updates. MCE integration could be better.

Gateway One ZX6951-53

Gateway's late-2010 all-in-one packs a big 23-inch screen, a slick new design, a robust feature set, and strong performance for the price.

Sleek design; Blu-ray drive, TV tuner; strong app performance; big screen for price

Integrated graphics limit gaming; lightweight touch software; strange external screen connection; mushy keyboard

The Gateway One ZX6951-53 retains the Editors’ Choice award that its predecessor earned by improving the design and kicking the processor up a notch, while actually lowering the list price a smidge. As we noted earlier, Apple's iMacs are still far...
