HP Slimline 260-a160na Desktop PC

It's nicely compact. Being an oldie, I like the CD/DVD drive.

It's noisier than my previous HP Tower. As someone who is not tech. minded, I find it all a bit complicated. The ENTER key is smaller so keep hitting the wrong button. A minor irritant I'm sure I will get used to.

The design is based on laptop components and with an external power supply and hence is smaller and quieter than a standard desktop PC with the normal internal power supply and large fans.

Suits the fairly simply office applications usage that we bought it for, but it is obviously not as powerful as a traditional desktop PC with a more powerful CPU if that is what you are expecting.

The scroll bar on the right-hand side of the screen is so thin I can hardly see it. This makes using it very difficult. Some text is so faint its hard to read and the mouse 'arrow' also so faint as to hardly be visible

Compact and works well. I have a few applications open at the same time and it handles the work load without too much strain. Overall a good purchase.

When I first set it up it was running very slowly and had to spend a long time speaking to technical support before they advised a complete factory reset which took a few hours to complete. But since then it has been running well.

On the whole, I am very pleased with it - especially the neat design which takes up very little space in my small office.

It takes quite a while to start and show the screen where the password is needed to begin.
