Great Buy

I recommend this to anybody wanting a nice computer but doesnt want to empty the wallet. 5 eggs all the way! :-D

Awesome computer for the price I payed. Plenty of power and speed for what I like to do. Plaus Rainbow Six Vegas 2 fairly well and didn't have to butcher settings to bad. City of Heroes visual effects trump my old computers abilities. I haven't really...

Standard shipping took longer than I wished but its what I get for ordering on a Friday afternoon hah. Wish it had 4 gigs of RAM and a better graphix card but it'll do for now. None of these are really cons but more like small gripes haha. Also the...

Amazing budget computer

There're a number of things to be said. The Mobo is an Asus P5KPL-CM board not VM, not sure if this is a typo, because Newegg does list a VM board for sale or previously for sale. This board is a micro ATX, not a full ATX board, so its short on space....

Cheap price ; For the most part, quality components ; Bios supports an OC feature for 5/10/15% over base speeds, this means 1600FSB and 1066DDR2 RAM (if you wish), large HDD by my standards ; Quality, attractive case

Had to change the switch location for the neon ; IBP doesn't send along the Vista disk ; 2gb of ram just doesn't cut it in Vista with newer games, so an upgrade to 64Vista and 4gb is on the menu

Great Computer

Motherboard is P5KPL-CM, not P5KPL-VM as stated in specs, however everything is the same in terms of # of ports, slots, etc.

Very fast and stable, worked right out of the box.

Not a real con, but the motherboard - tried to install a dual boot of Vista and XP since I hate Vista but BIOS doesnt seem to allow me to do this even with latest BIOS firmware. It will either recognize my hard drive, or a boot CD, but not both at the...

Happy

There are 2 buttons on the front the one on top turns it on but i have no idea what the other does....but then again maybe all it does is turns it off.

Just what I needed high power and upgradeable nice computer for the price and vista is highly recommended runs games made before 2006 very well at maximized graphics, sorry i don't know what the newest games may run at but my guess is probably very well.

It's a bit loud but then again its right next to my monitor so you might want it on the floor.

Main Family PC

Great price, high quality internals - Asus MoBo & video/Intel Proc/Kingston RAM, easy set-up, runs cool & quiet, super fast.

More RAM would have been nice since Vista is such a memory hog, but no ability to upgrade in the store.

beast

Very good upgradable computer for the price, Ive already upgraded the ram and graphics card.

Very good computer, very fast and has nice lights inside.

only 1 con, the fan in the back was broken and I had to buy a new one, not a huge issue though.

iBUYPOWER Gamer 901EL-III Core 2 Duo E8400(3.00GHz) 2GB DDR2 250GB NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT Windows Vista Home Premium - Retail

After only upgrade'n the OS to Vista (64-bit) I got a 4.9 base score from windows Performance Information with this Rig as is...=) not to shabby

A great System for the for the Budget Gamer

only RAM expandable to 4Gigs with only 2 slots on the MoBo and no preinstald Vista (64 bit) only (32 bit) however it did come with the 2 gigs as advertised but they were the cheap-O "value select's" from Corsair

Very Decent Computer

Overall this computer is very good. I would recommend this machine to anyone who wants a cheap and decent computer.

It works right out of the box. Speed is pretty good for the price that I had to pay. Very decent. Good looking and shiny. Guaranteed good. It takes most of my games.

The box that used to carry this computer was damage when it was delivered to me. I was kind of afraid that the computer would be damaged too, but fortunately it was not. The graphic card is kind of weak for company of heroes, but it could be upgraded...

iBUYPOWER Gamer 901EL-III Core 2 Duo E8400(3.00GHz) 2GB DDR2 250GB NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT Windows Vista Home Premium - Retail

My first one arrived DoA (dead on arrival). Had no problems sending it back and receiving a new one. Just got it and I LOVE it! Video card is an easy and cheap upgrade when the time comes but for right now it's perfect.

Really fast, quiet. Good future upgrade-ability.

None so far
