Consumer review (newegg.com)

Good card, Great value, better than Xfired 270Xs.

I am more impressed with the JetWay model that is cheaper than this one.

Decent price, dual HDMI, PXE boot seems to work fine

Does not come with a power cable. Worst idea ever.... Whey you open the box, it plays the Intel tune, like a greeting card. Keep the fancy box and music player. Give me the $1.00 power cable. Very poor support for mSATA drives. Will not recognize any...

Excellent. No problems.

Very satisfied for my HTPC setup. There are i3 through i7 NUCs available, but this specific NUC is more than capable.

This has been more than adequate for my current set up. I have it as my HTPC that has a dual boot setup with Linux Mint 17.1 and KODIbuntu (Helix). I also use it as a Plex media server to my Roku3 setup in KODIbuntu. I have it connected to a WD MBL...

Given that a barebones system requires tweaking, the biggest and most difficult thing to setup was the output sound from HDMI. I have it connected to my Sony receiver using HDMI and was not able to get DD 5.1 / LFE to output and display on my receiver...

Awesome!!

Aside from them leaving out a power cable, which, is silly, I love this little guy and I'll see about buying another. Perhaps doing an i3, it could make a great steam box for streaming games from my big rig and be a great media center for Netflix and...

I love this little thing! Well, my grandma mostly. I got this little guy for her running Xubuntu 14.04. I love it because of it's size, it has the BEST BOX EVER (not even exaggerating, but this is subjective), it's silent, and very minimalistic. It was...

No 3 prong power? Really? It'd probably cost you $0.30 and you could just charge us an extra $1-$2

Great HTPC Option

I bought this to replace my Raspberry Pis that I had setup in my living room and my bedroom. I installed XBMCbuntu, and the dual HDMI output worked instantly. I wanted to customize the audio, because I have surround sound in my living room, but only...

Dual HDMI output ; Quite under load ; Great for XBMC(XBMCbuntu, Openelec, etc.) ; Also great for Linux ; Cheaper than building a comparable mini-itx system

None really. It doesn't come with the power cord, but that's nothing major

Beware of this Product

I purchased this product. After I bought the cables, the memory, the SSD hard drive. I still have not figured out how to get sound out of it. There is no way to do so, unless you buy a monitor with an audio output or internal speakers. I have contacted...

Perfect for Certain Uses

The box includes: NUC case, CPU, motherboard, power supply (no cable), instructions, Intel CPU sticker. Internally, you have the following ports: 2x DDR3 SO-DIMM, 1x miniPCIe (full length), 1x mini-PCIe (half-length). It also has two WiFi antennas...

For the size and price, this little thing can pack a punch and fit anywhere. It's great for kiosk devices (what I use it for at work) as well as a small computer for the casual PC user ; Once you buy all of the items you need to build one of these,...

Does not include power cable, although it does include the power supply. You need to buy the 3-prong power cable, sometimes called the "Mickey Mouse" power cable ; GPU is not upgradeable. This goes for all NUC models. Like a laptop, you're stuck with...

Update the BIOS

Purchases this to be the Hamachi gateway for remote clients to tap into the office network. Installed Win7 Pro on it, and had immediate difficulties downloading driver updates. Had to use sneakernet to get drivers installed, and still had networking...

Small and inexpensive. Just enough for the job at hand

Needs a BIOS update out of the box, to be reliable. Not everyone will notice/think of that

No HD Video

Power adapter to wall cord is not included. It is clearly stated in the product description.

Small and quiet

Graphics is weak. It is not capable of playing HD video

Not that great

Purchased to run XBMC on OpenElec First problem I found is that I could not enter the BIOS using F2 key. As every mechanism to update BIOS requires use of a keyboard, that is a real issue. When it was working, seemed very smooth. However, had some...

Nice looking bit of kit. Very quiet

Heating issues ; BIOS issues ; HD video issues
