Meh its ok..

Purchased a few of these units for streaming video from ip cameras on a lan to TV's. Great little units for everyday stuff but not so great for the video streaming pretty choppy, just not enough horsepower. Wish i had gone with i3's instead.

Intel Quality Little to no noise

not enough horses for streaming video on an ip camera

Highly dissatisfied

-I would not recommend this product due to the headache it has caused over the SIMPLEST feature! I always buy Intel products when possible and this is my first regret. I'm confident I can get this unit back to working, but I shouldn't have to be taking...

-Small form factor and comes with a VESA mount, allowing for a lot of power to be mounted behind a monitor -It's so little! -Bios looks nice -A good product for when you don't want to dedicate a powerful machine for a simple task, but you need more...

-I was very excited ordering this on the recommendation of a co-worker. Enthusiastically, I ordered it with next day shipping. I brought it to work, and my co-worker went through bios - very nice UI and he was impressed. He selected the fast boot...

Solid budget PC.

Link to the Intel USB 3.0 Windows 7 driver utility: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25476/Windows-7-USB-3-0-Creator-Utility

Excellent value for the price - very full featured for it's size. Solid construction - You can feel the quality in the build, you could probably stand on it without worry. Almost completely silent - I have one being used as a HTPC/Emulation box and...

I had some issues with the USB ports not playing nice with my thumb drives. A couple wouldn't boot to a Windows or Linux install. Also worth noting is that Windows 7 doesn't have native support for USB 3.0 ports which can lead to a headache when...

Great low-powered box

- This box is very particular about what RAM you install into it. Check Intel website for RAM compatibility: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/intel-nuc-kits/000006071.html - Windows 10 runs perfect, out of the box - Debian...

- Small, compact and quiet - Ideal for a low powered media center or a file server - Also good for casual desktop use

- Installation of OS may require fiddling with the bios until you get the right settings - Can be a bit slow on high loads, but this is pretty much expected of a Celeron chip - Chrome and YouTube is slow for 1080p videos, IE is fine

Very easy to set up

A logitech MK 270 wireless mouse/keyboard works with no problem. Previous reviewer had issues with a logitech combo Memory used in build: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3L 1600 (PC3L 12800) Laptop Memory Model F3-1600C11S-8GRSL

1. Low price 2. Quiet 3. Linux mint 17.3 installed without any problem.

no cons.

Great Price to Performance Ratio

Main use is streaming media as a HTPC. I have also run some retro gaming emulators on this and everything works great (up to psx). Very pleased!

- So Small! I knew it was from the description, but reading about it and then holding it in your hand are two different things! Compact is an understatement - Full size HDMI port - don't have to worry about those mini-adapters - Plenty of power - Boots...

Not necessarily a con, but just set your expectations approximately for the processing power. Its a dual core celeron so it can get easily bogged down when multitasking or opening multiple web browser tabs, but nothing to the point of being unusable. I...

Very slow for any meaningful use.

Small. Cheap. IR port. Looks promising for HTPC.

Under powered. Wireless USB keyboard mouse form logitech would not work. slow as hell. Tried Windows, Ubuntu and Mint. Painful. Getting RMA'd and paying restocking fee and return shipping to get rid of it.

Excellent little box

I bought 3 of these, i had same problem as the user below with NO booting after the bios on 3 machines. I know better that, i have a better chance of getting struck by lightning or winning the lottery twice than having 3 bad pieces of equipment in a...

This is important so its first.. If you can start this and navigate around and set your bios but then it goes to a black/no/dead screen and wont boot past the bios. Its the memory. Its whisper quiet, its pretty snappy also. Its as fast my ZOTAC nucs...

I tried 4 sticks of memory from the HCL, all would let me navigate the bios none would let me actually boot after the CPU handed off the memory control to the board. Went to black screen & no boot. The memory HCL list -LINK- on some of the support...
