Lenovo H520s

The Lenovo H520s desktop PC combines decent performance and value into a compact chassis.

Slim, space-saving chassis. Affordable. Minimal bloatware. Integrated Wi-Fi.

No USB 3.0. Older "Sandy Bridge" processor.

Lenovo H520s

Few manufacturers bring as much business-focused clout to the table as Lenovo and its legendary black boxes, but the company's no-frills Essentials series doesn't receive nearly as much attention as Lenovo's marquee ThinkCentre desktops or ThinkPad...

Strong performance for the price ; Small form factor ; Attractive, unobtrusive design ; Little bloatware

Previous-generation processor and USB ports ; Basic warranty ; Uncomfortable keyboard ; Limited expansion options

It might not sport the most cutting-edge technology, but the H520s offers a lot of power for small businesses on a small budget.

Works fine initially but not reliable in my experience

It was working as expected. Lot of storage space, good connectivity with the included wireless, etc. I mean there is nothing really much to say here. It's not blazing fast or anything, you can tell from the specs. Windows 8 was a little annoying but...

After about... 8 months of usage the computer would freeze and often I would boot to a screen saying no OS found. I would notice before freezing the hard drive activity led would cease blinking and I figured it was a hard drive failure. It took like 4...

The card reader does not recognize any hcsd card. I have tried several brands and no luck. I have re installed the drivers but no luck. The lenovo web site every time want to call my computer a thinkpad. I enter in the model number H520S slim desk top...

Slim and fairly attractive

Built in card reader does not work. Lenovo web site is difficult to navigate. You enter in your computer model but the next page dumps it. Poor on line support

Quiet

Small foot print allowed me to install it off the desk top and still conveniently handy. Very fast setup without much bloat-ware. VERY fast performance and most importantly - VERY quiet. I second the use of the Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse. The...

WARRANTY NIGHTMARE

SMALL, IT DOESN'T TAKE TOO MUCH SPACE, SO FAR WORKING GOOD, NOT TOO MUCH NOISE

THE WARRANTY IT'S NIGHTMARE. ON WARRANTY STATUS DON'T RECOGNIZE THE SERIAL NUMER, CALLED LENOVO AND THEY DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT. THEY ASKED ME FOR THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL FROM NEWEGG THAT I BOUGHT THE COMPUTER. I BOUGHT AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM...

Great for a HTPC!

I purchased this to be used as the mainframe for our home theater pc, windows 8 took a bit to get used to but we really like it overall. The startup is super quick, almost like an apple device and coupled with the logitech wireless keyboard and mouse,...

Nice for HTPC

This is about as small as a PC can get and still have a reasonable amount of room in the case for a few minor upgrades. Nice size for the HTPC, if you add a wireless keyboard.

Small size, much smaller than a mid tower, enough power with an i5 processor, Windows 7 and 4GB RAM for a HTPC. Great price for an i5, on sale

None for me. If you want to play serious games, you will need a video card
