Lenovo Ideacentre Y700

The Lenovo Ideacentre Y700 isn't the most powerful or expandable gaming desktop out there, but it delivers fine performance (even with VR) while remaining affordable.

Affordable. Gaming performance is solid. Ready for VR. Lots of ports. Side panel is easy to open.

Limited expandability.

Conclusion It's hard to pass up a good deal—and the Lenovo Ideacentre Y700 is a good deal. There isn't a whole lot of expandability and you're limited to one graphics card—but if all you want is an entry-level gaming PC, this is certainly a capable one...

Lenovo Y700 ideacentre Gaming PC Review

When I was offered a chance to review the Lenovo Y700 gaming desktop I couldn't turn it down.

Saying this unit has a big form factor might be an understatement, but the PC is pretty big. Just the box it came in was just about as tall as my three year old daughter. No banana for scale. Sorry guys, maybe next time. I know I’ve already said this...

Lenovo Ideacentre Y700 (GTX 1070) Review: Solid Gaming Value

The $1,349 Ideacentre Y700 accomplishes its goal of providing VR-ready gaming performance at a decent price. Its Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics card and Core i5 processor are ideal for both graphically rich gaming and productive multitasking, and its...

Easy to upgrade ; Fairly affordable ; Strong gaming performance

Competitors offer more style and features ; A bit bulky

The Lenovo Ideacentre Y700 performs well for an entry-level gaming PC, but it's not quite as sleek or feature-rich as the competition.

Lenovo IdeaCentre Y700 review

The Lenovo IdeaCentre Y700 gaming PC hits some pretty high marks. The hardware inside is perfectly capable of running modern games. In the off chance that buyers find a game that isn’t, it’s so easy to add upgrades that any new hobbyist could do it.

Lenovo IdeaCentre Y700 34-ISH Review — Center of the Pack

In spite of some truly underwhelming peripherals, the Lenovo Y700 34-ISH offers decent hardware at an affordable price. Even if it can't run the latest and greatest titles with stunning 4K definition and eye-popping textures, it does a respectable job...

Not too expensive ; Solid gaming performance ; Easily upgradable

Subpar peripherals ; No Blu-ray player

The IdeaCentre Y700 34-ISH plays games well at 1080p settings and has plenty of ports, but its included peripherals leave much to be desired.

Fairly good gaming PC

bought about a month ago as i needed an interest free option. Not disappointed. Runs quite well although an SSD would not go astray. Haven't had a single hardware issue and has a very quick startup time for a no SSD computer.

Poor quality

How can you make a computer that can not be upgraded. A atx 10 pin on the mother board when the majority of power supplies are atx 24 pin. You can not even buy an adapter cable to assist. If it was not for me being passed the purchase date I would have...

Amazing

I bought this a month ago, started playing some hard hitting games such as ARK:Survival evolved and GTA V. Could play these games with ease and was an incredibly great purchase and will buy from linovo again. I wish they would have a larger range of...

Does not perform up to simple standards

It crashes all the time. I cant go for more then an hour or two without a crash and it often requires a restart. By far the worst new computer I have ever bought.
