Lenovo Legion Tower 5i (2021) Review

Six-core CPU and 6GB GPU for under $1,000 ; Stylish case with customizable lighting ; Quiet under load

Inadequate 8GB of RAM as tested ; Could use a front USB-C port

Lenovo's entry-level Legion Tower 5i gaming desktop delivers improved performance and style at a low price.

Lenovo Legion Tower 5i Review

Excellent gaming performance ; Well-priced ; Customizable RGB lighting ; Built-in Wi-Fi 6

No AMD Ryzen version ; Mostly plastic exterior

Lenovo undercuts the competition with its new mid-tower gaming desktop, the Legion Tower 5i. It's a top-notch performer at a great price.

Lenovo Legion Tower 5i Gaming Desktop review: An incredible gaming PC that costs less than a grand

Lenovo's Legion Tower 5i Gaming Desktop is a $999 Windows 11 machine that offers a ton of bang and beauty for your buck. This model features an Nvidia GeForce GTX Super graphics card and the Lenovo Legion Tower 5i gaming desktop review - This packs a...

Great value ; Runs quietly ; Powerful performance ; Case has transparent panel made of strong glass ; Lighting is exquisite and customizable ; Included keyboard is surprisingly premium ; Nearly bloatware-free ; Powerful enough for almost all PC games ;...

No display cables included ; Mouse feels cheap ; No handle on the case for transporting ; Only 8GB of RAM ; Won’t play all games in 4K

The Lenovo Legion Tower 5i gaming desktop packs a lot of power and punch for a sub $1000 machine. It’s spec’d out almost perfectly for most gamers and power-users alike. It’s beautiful inside and out with its clear siding, personalized lighting,...

Lenovo Legion Tower 5i (2021) review

Purpose built for entry level PC gaming

Solid 1080p Performance ; Great For Esports ; Easily Upgradable ; Affordable

Entry level model GPU lacks ray tracing & DLSS ; Low SSD storage ; Included keyboard and mouse are useless

If you're looking for an inexpensive gateway into the world of PC gaming, you'll get plenty of mileage out of the Lenovo Legion 5i. Just keep the base model’s modest specs in consideration as the GTX 1660 Super lacks more modern GPU standards like ray...

LENOVO Legion Tower 5i Gaming PC - Intel® Core™ i7, RTX 2070 Super, 512 GB SSD

Able to run all top level games on high or ultra with no issues (MSF2020, Cyberpunk, GTA). Not only that but the PC is really quiet and hardly ever hear the fans having to work hard to keep it from overheating. RGB lights on the interior of the case...

Small SSD - for the price they probably could’ve thrown in an extra terabyte. But you can get a really high quality SSD very cheap - especially in the sales. My SSD came with a free copy of Assassins Creed Valhalla, so I’m not complaining!
