MSI AG270 All-in-One review: The MSI AG270 is a rare PC gaming all-in-one desktop

Packing high-end laptop parts behind a 27-inch touchscreen, this gaming rig is fun and unique.

The MSI AG270 combines high-end gaming parts with a large matte-finish touchscreen, tons of storage, and a Blu-ray drive.

The components are laptop parts, not more powerful desktop ones, and gamers may want more upgradability.

Gaming all-in-one desktops are rare, and not for everyone, but the MSI AG270 is a self-contained gaming rig.

But, on closer examination, there are a few holes in our theory. As one of our colleagues put it, you're basically buying a gaming desktop that you can never upgrade. And, despite the hulking desktop footprint, most all-in-ones default to mobile parts...

MSI AG270 Gaming All-in-One (2PC-006US)

The MSI AG270 Gaming All-in-One refines its design, with better hardware and improved performance over its predecessor.

Distinctive all-in-one design. Touch screen. Yamaha speakers sound clear. HDMI input allows use as a monitor.

Full HD feels underwhelming on the 27-inch display. Anti-glare coating limits viewing angles. No option for expansion or upgrades.

Conclusion The MSI AG270 Gaming All-in-One (2PC-006US) is one of the few all-in-one desktops on the market with real gaming chops. It's a solid all-in-one PC in its own right, but the addition of graphics performance and several gamer-friendly features...

Fast enough for first-tier games at 1080p, Handsome touch screen with HDMI input

DVD instead of Blu-ray, Corded instead of cordless mouse and keyboard

Indeed, the AG270 nearly copped one of our rare four-and-a-half-star ratings, and was an easy pick for an Editors' Choice. We're eager to see other AIO makers answer the challenge, but MSI has set the bar high.

MSI AG270 Gaming All-in-One PC Review and Ratings

The "Haswell"-powered heir to MSI's groundbreaking gaming all-in-one is even faster on the game grid, yet fairly priced for a 27-inch touch-screen AIO.

Fast enough for first-tier games at 1080p ; Handsome touch screen with HDMI input

DVD instead of Blu-ray ; Corded instead of cordless mouse and keyboard

As we said, the truly hardcore will always want conventional gaming towers, both for raw performance and for expandability and upgradability. But the MSI AG270 is doubly appealing as a good-looking all-in-one PC that, unlike the majority of its peers,...

Nice Computer

MSI is trying to deny my $300 rebate because it says I didn't send in my invoice, which I did. They got all of the other info they requested in the same package, but are trying to say they didn't get the invoice. Great product, bait and switch with the...

large size is nice. Its fast, good looking and easy to set up. Just what I was looking for

Mail in rebate doesn't work

AG270 A game changer?

Your definitly going to want to add another SSD as the hard drive does perform fairly well with the OS on the SSD youll want your games loaded on one as well. It has slightly exceeded my expectations and im happy with my purchase.

Cpu throttles perfect. For a turbo boost to 3.5 it has never gone over 3.2 and cpu stays at 80% load or less. The 6GB GPU powers 2 alternate monitors with it fairly well. Its a sleek solid design. Speakers sound pretty nice for being built in however...

I honestly do feel that MSI should have strived for a 75Htz monitor however it functions very well so i wont take off a star for that.

Amazing AIO Computer!

-Make sure you go to Nvidia graphic setting and turn on Geforce 970M as primary card or games can get pretty. -Swap the HDD with a aftermarket SSD for your games! -Swap memory with aftermarket Memory! -Swap Keyboard and Mouse with aftermarket gaming...

- Processor, plenty of cores to run any game - Memory 12gigs, more than enough - SSD (OS) / HDD (Applications) - 970M; plays Black Desert at slightly high detail (40-55 fps), medium setting above 50 fps!

Mouse and Keyboard - You may want to look at getting a corsair keyboard and mouse. However they are not terrible they're a good starter set for gamers!
