ZOTAC ZBOXHD-ID34BR-U Blu-Ray HTPC - Bjorn3D.com

With the market saturated with already fine-tuned NVIDIA 460's, buyers need a good reason to upgrade to the entry level 500 series. The MSI GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr II / OC provides these reasons and is more than just a powerful name. One of the best...

The ZOTAC ZBOXHD-ID34BR-U impressed us in many ways, including looks, overall size, features, and overall innovation. While its performance lacks, even with the fastest Intel ATOM processor, Blu-Ray video playback is fantastic, and online streaming...

Zotac ZBox Blu-Ray Mini PC (HD-ID34BR) Review

In this review, we'll be taking a look at the Zotac Zbox Blu-Ray HD (Model: HD-ID34BR). It's a mini-PC that features Intel's new ATOM D525 dual core processor running at 1.8Ghz, supporting hyper-threading technology and 800FSB. It uses Nvidia's ION...

Zotac ZBox Blu-Ray Mini PC (HD-ID34BR) Review - FunkyKit

When netbooks were first introduced back in 2007/2008, many manufacturers saw a huge potential, in what was a new and emerging market. So they all jumped on the bandwagon, and before you knew it … we saw a huge increase in netbook products. What makes...

Overall, I was pretty impressed with the performance of the Zotac’s Zbox Blu-Ray HD-ID34BR. In our system benchmarks, it produced scores which I thought was more than respectable. This is all thanks to Intel’s dual core ATOM D525 running at 1.8Ghz,...

Consumer review (newegg.com)

Slim, easy to fit in crowded spaces, pretty quiet.

Yep. I'd recommend it to others. It has worked reliably for several years under light usage connected to our giant TV. Mainly used for those times we needed a full web browser. HD, RAM and such are upgrade-able.

1. Pretty blue circle light on top to let you know when it's powered on. (You can toggle off if needed.) 2. Size! This Zotac model is about the size of a small notebook PC with the screen part removed. 3. Bluray drive built in. 4. Quiet. 5. Low profile...

1. Not a speed demon. Hey, it's a dual core Ion processor with only two gig of RAM. One of these days I plan to max out the RAM and swap out the old HD for a SSD.

Fun while it lasted...

I checked the power brick for voltage and it seemed fine. Once day after a shutdown it wouldn't turn back on.. I guess $300 isn't what it used to be.

Perfect for my HTPC needs.

Died after 2 years.

Does as advertised and a bit more

It's a computer in a living room. For the price, over the years, and taking in account that it has a bluray player, it's been quite the satisfying little thing.

. Small form factor . Low power usage . Discreet but soldered-on GPU; some tasks can be GPU-accelerated

. CPU is really not powerful; don't compile a Linux kernel on this

OK at best but a product should last more than 6 months

running Win8

Inexpensive

Struggles with more than few apps running, video stutters, and now - 6 months in died.

Great Show

Want a HTPC that you can put out of the way...this is it. Want one that you can display with pride...this is it. Zotac did a great job designing this one. Wish they would put out a newer model that is capable of handling 8-16 GB of memory...it would...

Small form factor allows for out of the way positioning. Does everything that large PC would do. Windows & installed on the one that I own with ease. Did another for a friend and installed Windows 8...he loves it. I have owned mine for over a year and...

None that I can mention. If you are looking for high speed performance you should look to a larger computer. This computer fits the need of getting a HTPC at an economic price. Although I wish they would put them on sale every now and then. I know I...
