    Canon has long been considered to be one of the best camera manufacturers. Their high-end cameras are used by numerous professionals, but their compact digital cameras are great too. Canon doesn't have as much of a lead in the consumer market as they have in the pro market, but they make excellent cameras which are definitely worth considering if you are looking for a digital compact camera. They make great cameras which take nice pictures, have great features, and are competitively priced. Their compact cameras have been some of the first to adopt new technologies or higher resolutions, and they're a great company to go with if you want a cutting-edge camera.
