Plenty of features for an entry-level camera, including HD video ; Bunch of scene modes ; Streamlined design and comfortable to hold ; Good image quality

No image stabilisation ; No optical zoom while filming ; Fringing quite prominent at full magnification ; Pretty slow performance

The A2200 will suit casual photographers to a tee, while the inclusion of HD video and plenty of shooting modes make great additions to this entry-level camera.

Great camera for the price.

 

We've been very happy with this camera so far. We've used it for 1 month and 2 month baby pictures and the quality is excellent.

Ease of use, great pictures, color, lots of menu options, rechargeable battery (comes with wall charger)

Great for the Price

 

This is my third Canon point and shoot and I would not switch to any other brand. Granted they have a typical life of about 2-3 years, but since the upfront cost is typically $100-150, I'm satisfied.

As the website boasts, it's Auto features are pretty decent. It's good at picking up on macro settings, and, especially with still shots, you end up with a nice, clear, focused image. Lightweight. Got it when it was on sale and also came with a SDHC...

Experience some issues with blur. Once you go manual, the iso settings can deliver funky results. Plastic case, so while light, feels a bit cheap
