Casio Exilim EX-Z1080

The first thing you notice on the $280, 10.1-megapixel EX-Z1080 we tested is its metallic-pink shell and a big sticker touting its YouTube-capture mode--suggesting the camera's target buyer is young and female. If you don't fit that demographic, the...

Excellent battery life ; Unique YouTube-optimized video mode

Weak software

Small size, quick operation, and long battery life make this a great pocket camera. Comes in pink, blue, black, and silver.

With cameras like this, why aren't more people buying Casio?

The Casio Exilim Z1080 is an underrated bargain, and stands out in the small but competitive field of high-resolution ultra-compacts. It offers excellent build quality, stylish but sensible design, a useful range of features, good performance including...

The EX-Z1080 isn't brimming with remarkable specifications, but it's this kind of camera that often turns out to be excellent value.

Casio EX-Z1080 10.1Mp compact camera

Small size, quick operation, and long battery life make the Casio EX-Z1080 a great compact camera. It comes in pink, blue, black, and silver.

Overall, we like the Tracey Capen, for its small size and relatively quick control menus. But, unless you're a YouTube junkie, this camera has little to set it apart from the dozens of other compact models.

Casio Exilim EX-Z1080

CASIO EX-Z1080 is a digital camera that provides the user with high-resolution images. It does not have interchangeable lenses, but it does have 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. The camera measures 5.7 cm x 9.1 cm x 2.4 cm, weighs 0.13 kg, and...

The YouTube mode is easy enough, although real tech-heads are uploading clips straight from their phones these days. What really makes this Casio a red carpet winner are its stunning 10-megapixel image quality, handy portrait features and low light...

Casio - Exilim Z1080

We've been pretty impressed by the consistency and quality of Casio's Exilim range, which has recently been updated with the release of the 10.1-megapixel Z1080. It mimics the rather minimalist design of much of the rest ...

The latest from the Exilim range isn't ground-breaking but does continue to offer the same impressive performance, solid design and user-friendliness of much of the range. Improvements such as the face recognition technology and YouTube feature will...

Casio Exilim EX-Z1080

The Casio Exilim EX-Z1080 is a bit of a dark horse with only 3x optical zoom and a small body. It houses a menacing 10Mp sensor, face detection that memorises people and a hi-speed continuous shooting that can take 60 images in 10 seconds.

Amazing face detection; Easy YouTube uploading; Fast response; Good shutter lag; Good build

Limited zoom
