Casio Exilim EX-Z35 review

There are generally two types of sub-$150 point-and-shoots: you either get good photo quality, but a bulky design and/or few features or you get mediocre photos, but a slim design and a better-than-basic feature set. The Casio Exilim EX-Z35 falls into...

Nice design and features for price.

Photo quality drops significantly above ISO 200; short battery life.

The Casio Exilim EX-Z35 is a cheap, but not cheap-looking ultracompact for decent photos and video in bright lighting.

Unfortunate

Read above cons, steer clear of them. They look nice, feel nice, but will break and will not be fixed while under warranty. We even bought extended warranties but were told it wasn't covered. And no they were not dropped, and did not get wet. Just...

The cameras are very small and thin and do take nice pictures

If anything breaks on it, it's your fault. My daughter has really liked the exilim series and this is the 4th one. The price hasn't been very high but basically they have been disposable cameras. The previous 3 all had something happen to them, and...

Worst Camera ever

Lightweight, small, CHEAP

Takes bad photos, really bad photos. Perhaps if requires some fiddling around with, but then it's not a true point and shoot. I find most pictures taken quick and spur of the moment end up blurry. And photos in low light are pixel-y. I bought it in a...

So cute and easy to use. Like that it takes pics and videos. But when I tried taking pics of fireworks, all I got was the black sky, but that's probably all cameras. Great price!

Casio Exilim EX-Z35

We bought this for our 4 year old daughter as the specification was much better than the kids cameras. She has taken some fantastic pictures and has certainly found it very easy to use. Nice colour too when you're 4!

A bit wary of it being dropped but then we knew that when we bought it.
