Not a bad camera

 

Had one that seemed to fail, but it turned out to be a bad SD card. Have had three similar GE cameras, gave to my two teenage daughters to use on vacation over a year ago. Replaced one that got damaged by leaking batteries. I am now buying a fourth...

Has fun features, such as panorama. 5x optical zoom is good for such a small, inexpensive camera. Seems reliable. Have had three similar GE cameras so far. Optics seem fine, images are excellent

Battery life is so-so. We get tired of buying AA's, but at least AA's are cheap and easy to find. You will want to buy rechargeables. We lost one of these cameras to leaking batteries

Cool camera

 

12MP for 50 buck plus a free SD card who can beat that? Takes great clear pictures even at a distance with the zoom. Sure it's a little slower than most other camera's but they aren't 12MP for $50 either

For a camera with high MP rate the pics should be crystal clear, not blurry.

I would recommend this camera at this price with the Dolica kit, especially, it's a great purchase.

Well, I suppose opinions are like belly buttons-everyone has one. This point and shoot camera for the price does a great job. I just reviewed my last set of pictures. They were sharp and clear. The "bells and whistles" are features not distractions,...

I dropped an earlier model and broke the zoom or I would still be using it

Do not Buy

 

It has a lot of Bells and whistles. But it cant take good, sharp pictures. And what good is 12 MP picture if it is not sharp. The colors are dull. Bottom line what you pay is what you get. I paid 69 and got a 4gb card free. So lets say I paid 64...

The GE name conned me into buying this camera
