The Nikon Coolpix 7600 combines state-of-the-art technology, image quality and speed, and delivers it to consumers at a very affordable price. This compact camera features a 7.1-megapixel imager, 3x optical zoom with an exceptionally high quality...

Bottom line - the Nikon Coolpix 7600 is an affordable ultra-compact digicam that offers users great image quality with an abundance of exposure options. The only annoyance I found was when using the flash. After you capture an image, the camera "locks up"

Digital Cameras - Nikon Coolpix 7600 Digital Camera Review, Information, Specifications

Nikon's Coolpix line of consumer digicams has always been well-received, appreciated for their image quality and ease of use. The Coolpix 7600 continues that trend, with a 7.1-megapixel CCD and nice range of preset scene modes. The Nikon Coolpix 7600...

Nikon Coolpix 7600

With no less that 17, the Nikon 7600 has plenty of scope for most shooting situations, from indoor or party shots, firework displays or portraits and landscapes, but is it any good?

Plenty of subject modes and in-camera fixes for backlighting or redeye errors. Large colour screen and Face Priority AF, nice compact design and good image quality

No manual controls to speak of, frustratingly slow due to shutter lag and slow AF set up

Compact, easy to use and capable of surprisingly good results, the Coolpix 7600 should be on your list if you're looking at a basic, high-resolution digital camera. It may not have the panache of some more stylish models available and have a couple of...

Nikon Coolpix 7600

Despite a few flaws, this is a good digital camera for starter snapshooters who crave simplicity and a helping hand but don't want to sacrifice picture quality.

Compact ; Solid picture quality ; Helpful features for beginners

Lacks some useful basics, such as manual ISO settings ; Sluggish flash recycle ; Inconsistent low-light autofocus

NOTE: Products in this test are for comparative purposes only and are not necessarily available in the Australian market.

Great camera

Get it and you won't be disappointed. Compact camera with great quality prints.

If you can point it and click you're capable of getting amazing pictures out of this little camera. Got it for graduation in the spring and I've already taken close to 2,000 pics with it (in 7 monthes maybe). No problems at all. I love the video you...

The only thing I don't personally like is the video format. I'd rather use Windows Media than Quicktime... it's not as functional/editable with what I have. That's just a personal thing though, this is still an awesome camera
