Olympus SZ-31MR

The camera is compact and good looking. Photos are good quality.

There was a fluttering noise on video ( i found a video online , of some crows , with exactly the same noise problem on the video) . I sent the camera back, then bought a more expensive lumix tz30 which i am delighted with.

Robust & good weight.Lots of great features. Easy to use & quality images far beyond what I would expect of a compact camera. Zoom is outstanding.

Only very basic start up info in the manual. The rest is on CD which is not ideal for a quick check on detail.

Sleek finish, feels good to hold. Many features including panorama stitch. Fairly intuitive to use.

Start-up manual is very basic; you have to download the detailed manual on supplied CD for instructions on main functions. Also no memory card provided.
