Olympus T-100

Olympus's T-100 is a compact budget camera that is capable of capturing some pretty sharp images. Unfortunately, it is hindered by high image noise, slow performance, and a short zoom range.

Inexpensive. Compact build. Sharp lens. Rechargeable battery.

High image noise. Slow performance. Short zoom range. Low-resolution LCD.

Performance and Conclusions Calling the T-100 "sluggish" is an understatement. The camera is just plain slow. It takes a full 4.4 seconds to boot and capture an image, and pauses 3.8 seconds between shots, both of which can be attributed partially to...

Works, But With Flaws

I'd look for a better camera, but this isn't bad. Got it at Fries for the same price - but that was earlier during October of last year.

Takes good close pictures. Daytime pictures are pretty decent. Working audio with video recording function instead of silence. Small - good for holding in a pocket

Absolutely terrible for nights and/or low-light situations. It's embarrassing on how terrible this function is - NIGHT MODE DOES NOTHING TO FIX IT. Takes the camera forever to process, and by the time it processes, you get nothing but blur. Zoom is...

Look elsewhere inconsistent Pictures

Newegg let me return it, I wont get cheap on a camera again.

Cheap with rechargeable batteries and occasionally takes good pictures

Most pictures look like they were taken from an old phone

Seems very cheap, but works great

Light weight and can go anywhere with you. All the menus were easy to navigate through

The case for the camera seemed like a cheap instamatic camera you can buy over the counter. Not impressed with it

Great small camera

Add a 4 gig micro SD card and you never run out of space for either pictures or video. Egg sells a case with a velcro strap so you can carry it on your belt or purse strap. Bought this as a gift (but I use it) and whish I had purchased two. Would...

Amazing picture quality for a camera that fits in a shirt pocket. The movie function produced a video as good as my camcorder even indoors with regular room lighting. I carry it all the time to capture images on the run. Charges from the USB cable...

There is a shutter delay that is anoying if you are trying to capture a event that happens quickly. There is also an occasional blured pix if you don't allow the camera time to focus

My go to travel camera.

This camera certainly isn't top of the line, but it does take decent quality pictures, and is very reliable. Couple that with it's compact size and fairly low cost, and you have a perfect camera for everyday use, and travel If will get the job done,...

GOOD CAMERA

This is a good camera - the quality of the pictures is nice and it's really easy to learn how to use. THe one thing to be careful of is not to drop it because it is not very durable...once the screen cracks at ALL it goes black and is toast. Just not...
