Olympus Tough TG-830 iHS

The rugged Olympus Tough TG-830 iHS isn't the company's top-end rugged, waterproof camera, but it's a solid choice for the price.

Waterproof to 33 feet. GPS. Sharp 5x zoom lens. 10fps burst shooting. Double locking doors.

Rear LCD could be sharper. Narrow aperture lens. Shaky video. In-camera battery charging only.

Good for still pictures but horrible for videos. Called Olympus repair and they claim the noise is "normal" for an underwater camera and they can't fix this behavior. They said I could pay postage and send it in, but it would be returned without...

I bought this camera for underwater pictures. It's easy to use and takes great pictures. I had to buy a different strap for it as the one it comes with is not underwater friendly.
