Panasonic Lumix DC-ZS200

The Panasonic Lumix DC-ZS200 marries a long zoom lens to a premium 1-inch image sensor. It's a very good pocket camera, but we wish the screen offered tilt.

15x zoom power. 20MP 1-inch image sensor. 9.4fps burst capture. Raw image support. Touch LCD. Sharp 4K video. Wi-Fi.

Narrow aperture. EVF on the small side. LCD doesn't tilt. Crop limits wide-angle 4K video capture.

Panasonic Lumix DC-ZS200/TZ200 Review

Panasonic's premium compact DC-ZS200 (TZ200 outside of North America) boasts a 24-360mm equiv. F3.3-6.4 zoom lens, making it the longest reaching 1"-type pocket camera on the market. There are tradeoffs that come with that big lens, however. Find out...

If you're looking for a truly compact travel zoom with a 1" sensor, there are only two cameras to consider, and they're both made by Panasonic. The Lumix DC-ZS200/TZ200 takes the 20MP BSI CMOS sensor from its predecessor (the ZS100/TZ100) and bumps the...

Panasonic ZS200 ups the lens zoom for 1-inch compacts to 15x

Panasonic's successor to the ZS100 "travel zoom" compact brings the lens to 24-360mm, but sacrifices speed.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS200

When the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-ZS100 came out nearly two years ago, it helped define the travel zoom camera. Technically, it's still a point-and-shoot, but it has a fixed zoom lens that produces images you previously could only get from an ILC or DLSR lens.

Panasonic ZS200 Review

The Panasonic ZS200 brings with it several changes, including a brand-new 24-360mm-equivalent built-in lens, compared to the 25-250mm zoom lens found in the ZS100. There are other upgrades to be found as well, but much of the core of the camera remains...

Panasonic Lumix ZS200 review

A one-inch sensor plus a 15x optical zoom make for a decent specified compact useful for a wide variety of creative pursuits

Five-axis image stabilization supports hand held use ; 4K video clips up to 30fps capture speed ; Larger than average one-inch sensor size is a boost to image quality

Priced at a premium ; Rear plate LCD screen doesn’t tilt ; Electronic viewfinder is tiny

There is plenty to admire about the Panasonic Lumix ZS200, even aside from the headline grabbers of a one-inch sensor size and a 15x optical zoom reach from a ‘travel zoom’ camera that will slip unobtrusively into a jacket pocket or rucksack pouch when...

Panasonic Lumix ZS200 Bridge Camera Review: The Traveler's Choice

The ZS200's broad selection of features and special settings (particularly its post focus and macro settings) combined with the 1-inch MOS sensor and compact size, make this a very versatile and portable camera. Throw in the powerful 15x optical zoom...

Long optical zoom lens ; Helpful features ; Compact ; Sharp electronic viewfinder and touch-screen LCD ; Quick and easy wireless app setup

No hot shoe for an external flash ; Poorly organized controls and settings ; Rigid LCD

Panasonic's advanced bridge camera is relatively pricey but offers a powerful 15x optical zoom and a large 1-inch image sensor in a compact body, which makes it great for traveling.

Panasonic Lumix TZ200

A competent pocket camera. Panasonic Lumix TZ200.

Great zoom range for such a small camera ; Very respectable image quality ; Good-sized, very usable electronic viewfinder ; Considerably improved grip compared to TZ100 ; Effective image stabilisation for low-light shooting

Lacklustre out-of-camera JPEG image quality ; Rear LCD screen doesn’t tilt ; Control layout is poor for viewfinder shooting ; Slow maximum-aperture zoom is noticeably soft at telephoto

The Panasonic Lumix TZ200 is a great pocket camera, which can shoot almost anything pretty competently.

Panasonic Lumix TZ200 review

Don't forget your passport - this camera is going to make you want to travel

Long zoom ; high-resolution viewfinder ; 4K video recording w/ 4K photo mode

Fixed screen ; narrow maximum aperture

Not without its compromises, but the TZ200 is small, neat and not dramatically overpriced. It's quite possibly the best travel camera you can buy

Panasonic Lumix TZ200 Full Review

We review the new Panasonic Lumix TZ200 with a 15x optical zoom, 4K video and fresh design.

The Panasonic Lumix TZ200 offers a 20-megapixel 1inch sensor, plus a large optical zoom with a Leica 15x optical zoom lens while still being reasonably compact and lightweight. It's much smaller in size than bridge cameras such as the FZ1000 which...
