Samsung's Wi-Fi-enabled WB250F camera is an able smartphone companion

Thanks to well-implemented wireless features, good pricing, and decent performance, the WB250F is worth considering for social sharers.

The ; has excellent wireless features and an abundance of shooting options for all types of shooters. It has a handy pop-up flash and very good photo and video quality for its price and features.

Button placement on top of the camera could be better, and accessing some of the setting menus isn't always straightforward.

For those who want more camera than their smartphone offers without sacrificing the easy sharing, the Samsung WB250F Smart Camera is a good, affordable choice.

Samsung WB250F

The Samsung WB250F has a long 18x zoom lens and a top-notch Wi-Fi implementation, but image quality isn't the best we've seen in its class.

Excellent Wi-Fi implementation. Touch-screen display. 18x zoom. 24mm wide-angle. Sharp 1080p30 video capture.

Images lack detail at high ISOs. Burst shooting limited to 6 frames.

Performance and Conclusions The WB250F starts and shoots in about 1.6 seconds and records a very reasonable 0.2-second shutter lag. It can fire off a burst of six shots at 7.1 frames per second, but requires a long 11.3-second recovery time after a...

This camera has integrated Wi-Fi that allows you to easily transfer images to a smartphone

Clear image quality ; Lots of zoom ; Wi-Fi

Built-in sharing services aren't great ; Menu a little sluggish ; Battery life with Wi-Fi on
