Sony Digital Mavica MVC-FD92

Floppy disk-based digital camera hedges its bets with a Memory Stick slot.

Consider the MVC-FD92 if you are looking for a fairly flexible digital camera and you positively must hand digital images to others on a floppy disk.

Sony Mavica MVC-FD92

The new $1299 Sony MVC-CD1000 (Digital Mavica) shares the same basic "look and feel" of its Mavica MVC-FD95 sibling. It has the same incredible 10x optical / 20x digital SteadyShot stabilized zoom lens, a high-resolution color viewfinder plus a 2.5"...

Quick review of Sony Mavica MVC-FD92

A high quality camera that is good for professional work. Not a snapshot unit however. The delay from click to capture is just too long. There are many options for altering images including the size from megapixel to email. The flash is basic and...

It was great for about 4 years

I just want to write a very short review on this camera. I have loved this camera since it came out, it took great pictures. Initially I was a little torn with taking the pictures in highest resolution because it made them hard to e-mail or taking low ...

Floppy Disk/Memory Stick. 16x optical/digital zoom. Memory stick compatible with other Sony products.

It is bulky, expensive and did not last very long. Accessories are also expensive.

Good upgrade camera

This was my second digital camera as I was upgrading from its predecessor, the FD-85. Overall, not many differences to report other than the built-in Memory Stick slot. You will appreciate NOT having to continuously fill it with AAs. Included...

8x optical zoom, memory stick slot, advanced features.

Simple, yet pricey

My wife and I received this camera as a wedding gift. I love the 3 1/2 diskette option on the Mavica, makes for easy and quick pictures you can take all day long.

Excellent pics, Easy to use.

Kinda bulky. Needs larger memory stick. No view finder, just LED dislay.
