Best wireless photo frame

Dedicated email for easy photo sharing, simple and responsive touch interface, good image quality

No video playback, limited compatibility with photo-sharing sites, no adjustments for display brightness, contrast or backlighting, touch screen prone to fingerprints and smudges

REVIEW: Kodak Pulse Digital Frame lets you share photos instantly : Shiny Shiny

As part of our fortnight of Instagram goodness we were sent a 10" Kodak Pulse Digital Frame to try out, so we could showcase our favourite images from a fancy frame and not just squint at them on our teeny iPhone screens

Kodak Pulse 10 inch digital picture frame

It's about a year since I last looked at a digital photo frame. The latest incarnationfrom Kodak has a number of excellent innovations that make loading your images that much easierand at the same time provide a marked improvement in the screen.

While a year or so ago a 7" screen was often the norm and a premium would get you an extra inch the Kodak Pulse provides a bright clear 10" LED backlit display. The screen is bordered by a modest black surround about an inch deep. The device includes...

Kodak Pulse

I've tested many digital photo frames, and found the results pretty hit-and-miss. Some digital frames offer great feature sets, but look far too much like a fancy piece of technology: your attention should be drawn to the picture, not the frame.

Great when it works. Terrible Kodak support when it doesn't.

I called Kodak again (for a second time) to try to get some technical support on the issue. The support agent had no idea what my problem was and even less of an idea how to solve it. So I tried Kodak's 24/7 technical chat line. This fellow had perhaps...

I recently got this frame for Christmas and it worked great at first. I really liked how friends and family could e-mail photos to your frame. It was great, the features all worked very smoothly and the picture quality is very good ; I like how it has...

About 2 weeks after I took the frame out of the box I got a "white screen of death". I tried troubleshooting it (to no avail), called Kodak, and they told me it would need to be replaced. So I brought it back to the store, exchanged it for a new one,...

Nice product

As mentioned by other reviewers, simple is what you get. I found the instructions a little too simple. I would have liked to have known, if any, restrictions there might be on SD card size (e.g. like some cameras only work up to 2GB but no 4GB SDHC...

The image display is excellent. Beautiful colors, good contrast, nice transitions. The internal memory of 512MB is more than adequate but

no USB cable provided so you cannot upload to the gratuitous memory- adding a cable would have been nice. Inputting the SD card is a little awkward however this is very minor. I found that on some of my resized photos do not display correctly (colors...

Very nice image quality, very simple interface

This frame has good image quality and very simple operation. All functions are controlled by their own switch or button, there are no menus to navigate. It is short on extra features and options, but it does the basics very well.

This frame has a nice, simple design without a lot of wasted space around the border or an illuminated logo ; The image quality is quite nice. The "Ken Burns" style pan and zoom transition is nicely done. The 4:3 ratio works well with many digital...

The interface is very simple, which is mostly good. But it is a little to simple. For instance, there is a switch that controls how long each picture shows. It also controls which transition is used. So if I want the pan and zoom transition I have to...
