Died within a year and could not be fixed!

When it worked, accepted all formats, easy interface.

Terrible reliability history for many users. Inept service.

Died with a $217+ repair bill

While functioning, the unit produced acceptable VHS to DVD copies.

The unit did not last and required an unrealistic repair cost.

Died with a $217+ repair bill

The unit was purchased from Best Buy on December 15, 2005 and given to me as a Christmas gift. The DVD side broke shortly after Christmas 2006. I returned it to Best Buy for repair. After an initial $39.62 diagnostic charge, I was told the parts alone ...
