Very happy

I have this device between my cable box, and my receiver - output is to a 100" front projection in a dedicated home theater. I love that I don't have to fire up the projector - or even go to the theater to schedule shows, rip them to a computer, or...

Record high def from cable/sat box to any computer in the house - or to a USB attached drive on the Hava ; Presents itself as a DLNA server (can be seen by PS3 and others) ; Remote control - really remote of my cable DVR ; Works GREAT with a windows...

Very slight scan lines are now visible on my projector

monsoon multimedia 052507HT Hava Titanium HD WiFi with USB Dongle

Have never used slingbox so I can't really compare functionality, but as far as I'm concerned, the Hava beats slingbox in say many ways that I really don't care to spend the extra money to find out!

Beats slingbox pro hd in every way. It has wifi, connects to hard drives for limitless storage. Software is easy to use and works great. All this on top of 3 different viewers to watch at once and cost much less than slingbox

you can only watch 1 channel at a time; this will be useful if you're setting up a live broadcast, example, a church sermon;

good video quality ; easy to setup ; remote viewing works ; no problem broadcasting, tested with 3 concurrent connections

won't recognize network harddrive for video recording, it only records video on a compatible external hdd or the local hdd ; not a big geal, but you can only watch 2 different channels, 1 thru cable and 1 thru the RF antenna
