JVC XV N680B

If you do not have an HDTV then you can always use the SCART output, or alternatively use the component video out in order to get the image onto the screen and with the XV-N680B's quick loading abilities there will be minimal delay prior to watching.

JVC RX-DV31SL DVD Player/Receiver , Silver

Just to add to Hershon2004's review, with the Orb speakers, this is the best-sounding system I've ever owned. I have the Classic One Stereo Speakers (two satellite speakers and a subwoofer). Probably the best system under $1000.
