So Far OK

I've only used it a little so far, but appears to be working fine... even the 5.1. You'll want to make sure it's set to 5.1 in setup if you want surround. Comes with remote and batteries! Just one cable (yellow and L/R audio). But a heck of a deal for...

Flimsy

A lot is included, such as remote with batteries, cables, and manual. Played one short DVD and one CD without a problem.

Tried to play another DVD and got rubbing, or scraping sound. Applying a *tiny* pressure on the top caused the spindle to stop spinning. Nothing I could do would fix it. RMA'd it and asked for a replacement.

Good player for this price

Play all the discs I have including different regions, PAL disc.

don't see any cons yet. assuming picture quality is not considered for this class of player.

Accurate description - so far works as intended!

I used a Hair dryer on low and slightly warmed the sticker then slowly removed it and the glue beneath without an issue.

Very Inexpensive, It works as advertised so far. I was looking for a very inexpensive DVD player that still had great picture quality. This one has just that

Simple, Easy to Use, Plays Perfectly

I had 2 of these same products, same model for about 4-5 years. Replaced them with same product because they out preformed other brands and were easiest to set up and use.

To be expected from a brand name like Coby...

This DVD player is a piece of junk. The picture quality is subpar and it's begun to make a high pitched noise. This noise isn't from the unit, to comes out of the speakers during DVD playback. I wouldn't recommend.

Good if you want cheap and don't expect quality

I have had two of these. Why two you may ask. Well, the first one broke and then the second. As it turned out after much investigation, the players themselves didn't break, but the end of the A/V cord broke off inside the player. No way to get it...
