Not Happy!

Buyer Beware of LG

I recieved my machine a LG RH397D (same as this machine) as a replacement for a faulty LG RH1888. This machine though easy to use and great when it worked had too many faults. The subtitles would come on when you change channels and when you ring LG...

This is easy to use and works. I can easily record programs while I am at work to watch later. It would be nice if it had a HD tuner (I thought it did when I bought it) and if I could get the bloody subtitles to stop coming up every time I changed the...

Easy to use, has HDD and disc recording

It turns on subtitles every time I change the channel and it drives me nuts!

I am very satisfied with this product. It does everything I wanted. For HDD -> DVD dubbing, make sure you don't edit the program recorded on HDD, otherwise you cannot use the fast mode. Also, to use the scheduled recording, you must make sure TV...
