Have LG television so compatable. Only just gone freeviw/digital so have not worked out all options of use YET.

A few hiccups on my part on first use, gradually got the hang of it.

Had to be exchanged for a later model within 3 days of purchase due to inadequacy of manufacture/design or fault with input (call it what you like). The unit needed to be totally disconnected and reconnected each day in order to use it.

nice looking and slim ,like the idea of the red light in the centre that comes on in certain procedures .operation points have been made easier and it is easier to erase what you do not want .

i cannot honestly say that i have found a bad point , i had a previous lg hdd recorder and i was pleased with that one ,the only reason i got rid of it was because of the change over and i had it for six years without any trouble.

Remote doesn't have Channel Select rocker switches. buttons quite small for people with large hands like me. Videoplus would have been nice, but EPG is the substitute. Guess I'll get used to it. Instruction manual not the best; some parts confusing,...

I couldn't record Freeview channels on my previous recorder, so when I get it working okay this is a great bonus for me. I am becoming more familiar with the device and do find the set up to record programmes quite easy now - once the Guide has opened!

Disappointed with the initial very slow response by the remote control each time I switch on. It takes an age to show the guide/menu on screen.

Quality of recordings as good as watching live TV. The ability to timeshift (pause live TV when interrupted and then catch up, or to watch a recording from the beginning whilst the programme is still being broadcast) is superb. Value for money is...

Probably none in the long run, but difficult to learn how to operate all the features at first and we did get "stuck" in certain features and had difficulty in taking back control from the machine.

Looks Smart and is easy set up and use.
