Lasted about two weeks before it started smelling hot and gives a disk error when you try to load a disk. Hoping newegg will help with warranty as the online rma can't been done for some reason

I would like to retract my earlier negative review. If I burn at 2.4x in one hour format this player plays the disks without a problem.

This thing has played everything that I have thrown at it. But the downsides are, it seems a little slow to load. On occasion there was some minor pixelation of some movies that would play fine on my Sony. But for the kid this thing is great!
