Very well suited for in car DVD playback

Poor image quality, serious audio problems with high end headphones

This is a perfectly average device as it does what it's designed to do, but fails to go any further. Learn its faults, work around them, and it will prove to be a decidedly useful device.

wouldn't recommend for money

Solid so far

Much more solidly constructed and longer warranty than other sub <$200 players. Tablet style is the way to go for in-car player. Long battery life >4 hours

Not very loud at highest volume setting. Could use some more controls on the front instead of having to use remote

I love it

Excellent product for an excellent price. As always, Newegg got it here fast and their customer service (I had one question after recieving the unit) aims to please.

I bought 2 of these for the kids and couldn't be happier. The size is "just right". I'm happy that I didn't get a clamshell-type DVD player...the tablet form factor makes more sense for car mounting. The picture quality is excellent. Best of all, NU...

Meh

The picture is great, I am just dissapointed with the reliablity. It is fine for an adult user, but in the hands a a child this unit may prove to be too frustrating.

Nice form factor with slot loading and tablet form that is easy for a 2 year old to hold. Includes wireless headphones that work fairly well. Nice remote and extras for mounting on a car seat etc.Great player when it works

Player reads disks erratically.Occassionally movies stop for no reason in the middle and the machine must be restarted.Seems to take forever to load menu and start movie.Remote seems to have stopped working, but have not tried new batteries
