It's not a cheap portable DVD player, but it is stylish and has a lot going for it.

Charges and plays iPod content ; Crisp, clear screen ; Good speakers ; Variety of inputs

Back-seat suspension pocket is flimsy ; Comparatively expensive

There's any number of cheap portable DVD players if that's all you want, so a premium-priced unit does have to work a bit harder to stand out, and that's exactly what the DCP951 does.

incredible screen size and resolution... syncs up with ipod with no problems at all. Built in speakers are MORE than you could ask for in such a small device. Plays ALL media types used basically

Defective Unit

Was shipped to me in the original box. Not packed and padding within another box. Which might be why it didn't work when i received it. (bad form new egg) almost everything else I get from newegg is boxed and packed very nice, but not in this case.

has a lot of great features, that i hope i'll be able to use some time when it works

Unit arived defective (screen is scrambled unless you apply pressure to the right arrow on the key pad) Not the best image resolution out there. By panasonic unit is much nicer over all. I'll be sending this back for a replacement unit. Hopefully I...

I had to RMA the player because it was defective - it happens. Newegg took 4 days to acknowledge repeipt of the product (I paid the return shipping). Once they acknowledged receipt they were out of stock. They didn't notify me, I called. 10 days in...
