I decided to exchange the Samsung DVD-R135 for this Philips DVDR3400, which was about $30 less. After being a loyal Philips fan for many, many years, I was very unhappy with the last recorder I tried the Philips DVDR615. Because of that I was very ...

Decent price ($125 at Best Buy).

Cannot change screen format unless a recordable DVD is in the player. Bad design.
