DVB tuner image quality, very low noise even using hard disk, hard disk speed, recorded video quality, connectivity to computer or USB devices (ethernet LAN, USB input), easy-to-use program guide and video recording schedule

Difficult to organize files from USB devices or other sources ("PC video"), can't copy files to a previously created folder

looks great, works straight out of the box. Tuned itself in and picks up new channels itself as and when

Pioneer really do make the best. It was easy to set up and works perfectly. The 250 GB hard drive will certainly take a long time to fill up. The high speed copy function (for copying from HDD to DVD) is a great improvement over my previous Liteon DVD...

The remote control is a little clunky and probably has too many buttons. It lacks the ergonomic design of Sony remotes.
