Stupid carousel design. Cannot select a specific disc to play -- you have to advance through all of the ones in between and each one has to load (pack a lunch) before you can skip to the next one. And it only skips in one direction so if you have disc...

Look for something else

I replaced my 2 year old Samsung DVD player with this one for 2 reasons: 1) the old one wasn't multi disc and 2) it couldn't play CD-Rs. When I saw the C631P, I was intrigued: 5 disc tray, progressive scan, good price, and could play many formats of ...

Inexpensive, 5 disc capable, supports many formats, progressive scan.

no auto disc advance, possible banding problem, subtitles on when returning to movie.
