Retro-Bit Super Retro Trio Plus

Retro-Bit's Super RetroTrio Plus can play NES, SNES, and Sega Genesis cartridges and output them at 720p over HDMI, but the upscaling makes 16-bit games look a bit soft.

Supports NES, SNES, and Sega Genesis cartridges. 720p output. Accepts all legacy controllers. NES games look sharp.

SNES and Sega Genesis games look somewhat fuzzy.

Bottom Line: Retro-Bit's Super RetroTrio Plus can play NES, SNES, and Sega Genesis cartridges and output them at 720p over HDMI, but the upscaling makes 16-bit games look a bit soft.

Retro-Bit Super Retro Trio Plus

Three retro consoles in one, but is it worth it?. Retro-Bit Super Retro Trio Plus.

HDMI out ; Faithful gameplay ; Supports three different formats

Image quality could be better ; Mega Drive games run at PAL speed

A slightly muddy HDMI image and Mega Drive games running at slower speeds aside, the Super Retro Trio Plus remains a likeable system – especially if you’re keen to save space below your TV and don’t want three retro machines connected all the time.
