Good Over All

 

If getting to the newest Chili's was important to me this would not have been a good purchase as POI's are outdated, but I bought the unit to get from city centers to city centers in different states and the unit does that as well or better than units...

Display is large and bright. Sound is clear and crisp ; Easy to use and navigate settings with a review of the owners manual ; Gets me from point A to point B (long distances) ; The quality of this refurbished unit was exceptional with only a small ;...

Map is outdated, but more so the POI's. I think (hope) soon there will ; be updated map data. This is the reason for only the 4 egg rating

Works Great For The Price

 

I have used Clarion products for a long time, and none of them have every failed me yet. Thanks Clarion for making a nice product, and Thanks Newegg for selling it and a super price!

1. Touch Screen - Very nice and works flawless ; 2. Bluetooth - It also works surprisingly well, I use it in my truck all the time now. People say they hear me loud and clear ; 3. SD Slot - This is also a plus. I use it as a MP3 player in my office

The only Con I have is the maps are a little out of date but im sure Clarion will release updates in the near future

GPS

 

I am sending this back because of the scratches and battery life. If it was not for that, I would keep it.

Bluetooth feature is great. Speaker is loud. Shows sideshow of pictures. Navigation feature is mediocre for my rual area, the Magellan does a WAY better job doing what a GPS should do

Recertified. Mine came all scratched up bad!! A GPS is suppose to be best at maps but its other features surpass the gps. Does not turn off when you turn your car off. Leading to Battery drainage. Which is probably why my used unit's battery life lasts...

A great deal

 

Arrived in 2 days, nice packaging and all accessories included and nicely wrapped.

The features and price on this product are amazing. I have looked around the web, and even though I know this is reconditioned, the closest I could find was 160 online. I got it on sale for 99.00 on newegg! Cannot find comparable products new or used...

Reconditioned. I dont usually buy these, but just couldnt pass this up

Stay Away Unless you live in 2005

 

I would love to keep this unit, but would just rather buy a 200 dollar GPS with updated maps and save 50 dollars.

This unit is very nice and for the price you will not be able to get such a nice machine with the same features. Such as an MP3 player, and a 4.3 screen

2005 maps are loaded. My neighborhood does not exist and it was built in 2003. Only 2 million points of interest which is about 5 million less than the competitors, and if you would like the map update that comes out in January 2009 it will cost you...

Buyer Beware

 

This was a very good deal. It was a re-manufactured unit but it seemed unblemished as far as I could see. The strange on/off behavior might have been a defect missed at the re-manufacture. Newegg, however, has been awesome as usual. Great shipping...

Cheap. Bluetooth is interesting. Screen is large and bright

GPS receiver was off as far as my current location so it told me to turn at the wrong time and often had me off course when I was not. Maps woefully out-of-date and though Clarion has promised to update them on their site in the summer of 2008, there...
