No powered mount ; Cannot add a traffic receiver ; Can only hide Trip Log; cannot clear it without resorting to a hard reset ; Only includes maps of 48 states (although a version that adds Alaska, Hawaii and Canada is also available)

Highly recommended. This is without a doubt the best entry level navigator Garmin has ever released. It has an ultra-wide 5” screen along with features previously restricted to mid-range units. You can't hardly go wrong with this one.

Garmin NUVI 52LM

 

Great tech support. They even used windows remote assistance to make sure the fix was done right. I was very favorably impressed! Way to go guys!

Bought refurbished it worked fine out of the box. Replaced a much older, smaller Garmin unit (that still works, by the way)

After an initial trip with the unit, I updated it using Garmin's website, and the only problem with THAT was the update wiped out the voice directions feature. Contacted Garmin tech support and they promptly fixed the problem on line with updated...

In closing, I'm sad I bought this device. I wish I purchased something else or kept with my old Garmin 330c.

Garmin Has Always Been My Choice

 

I had an older Nuvi 350i which didn't have lifetime maps. Decided to upgrade to one that did have that feature. It offers a side picture of the off ramp which I do like. I do miss my old voice for instruction.. Excellent Value.

Better than my old magellan meridian color

 

Has very quick satellite acquisition and an indoor mode so you can plan your trip even without any sats visible. It has a bright 5 in screen that is quite responsive to touch, as well as ; downloadable traffic cam locations

It only gets better.

 

I bought this as replacement for an older model. This is an excellant GPS an I would recommend it to anyone. It is fast accurate and mounts nicely.
