Garmin StreetPilot 2720

Type: Automobile, Display Type: Touch, Power: Adapter, Turn-by-turn: yes, 3D View: yes, Hard Drive: no, Preloaded m...

Excellent non-reflective touch screen. Easy-to-use intuitive interface. Simple enough to use for a novice, but configurable for the GPS enthusiast. Excellent text-to-speech conversion.

Some advanced options are buried in the menu system. User-configurable data fields reduce area available for map display.

It's hard to find fault with the 2720; an impressive screen, live traffic alerts (optional) and text-to-speech, among many other things, make this a compelling product.

very pleased

Great unit for motor cycles. This is my second Garmin GPS my first is a 2620 which is why I bought the 2820 with its new features that fitted both car and motor cycle. I can switch back and forth with little effort.

Works well

Have been replaced by the 2820 that added blue-tooth and a few other features without addressing some of the cons above.

Works well, even in cities. Screen is highly visible even in bright light. The remote control is very handy; allows the passenger easily operate while driving. Big plus is the ability to pre-define routes for a trip. Many newer devices seem to lack...

Map updates are way too expensive. This model requires an adapter that goes in series with your FM antenna if you want to get the FM traffic capability (expensive too). No built-in battery

The instructions for use were very clear.

This model took a significantly longer time to locate a satellite than another Garmin product used.
