TomTom Rider 2nd edition

TomTom's Rider 2nd edition GPS leads the way for motorcyclists.

Bundles a bike-mounting bracket and Bluetooth helmet speaker/mic. Waterproof. User-configurable screen. Extended battery life. Excellent language support. Multisegment routing.

No text-to-speech support. Lacks live traffic updates.

TomTom RIDER (2nd Edition)

Rugged and durable design, clear LCD display, improved audio, Cardo scala-rider Bluetooth headset

Interface ill-suited to thick riding gloves, power button occasionally unresponsive

The RIDER 2nd edition offers several significant improvements over its pioneering predecessor, including a superior headset and bike mount. While a few flaws remain, it has managed to avoid most of the key obstacles that hamper other units.

Excellent product, works flawlessly

If you've been thinking about GPS for your motorcycle this is it. It looks sharp, works great and is a couple hundred dollars less than the other motorcycle GPS offered on NewEgg.

The TomTom Rider looks great, functions flawlessly and installs right on your handlebars. I had my TomTom installed at a motorcycle shop (American Trikes & Motorsports in Keene, NH) and they hooked it up to my ignition which is the best way to install...

Seperate wall chargers for the scala headset and tomtom device that look very similar. Almost damaged my headset by trying to plug it into the TomTom charger. Also, limited installation instructions for the battery cable for the DIYers. I brought mine...
