OK

Like other people have said, ok if you use it moderately. I would by a Tom Tom or Garmin next time. A friend has a Tom Tom and says it works well.

Nice and bright of an evening.

Not so bright during the day. Left Melbourne to head back to Ballarat when on holidays and it directed us on a complete goosehunt. I would have been better of with a Melways.

Good

I find it easy to use and enjoy using it. On a recent NSW South Coast trip, mounted on screen beside a Tom Tom One XL the performance was the same 95% of time. Tom Tom 20 channel processor quicker on power up. Both made the mistake of 'seeing' the...

Good screen, low initial cost, robust, reliable, wide range of map colours and voices, quick access to preference changes, good address routine, good range of 'gimmick' options. Easy to use with familiarity.

Slow initial satellite recognition, poor documentation, 'shortest' route option not always effective, battery life poor, hard to find local map upgrades. Frozen on me twice; easy to reset.

purchased ours on sale so we got it at a good price, can be used whilst unplugged from cigarette lighter, good size unit, not too big or too small, the touchscreen icons are a good size for man hands, can be upgradded

very slow at finding the current destination, driving along the freeway going in the right direction it told us to do a u turn when safe to do so, obviously gets lost itself, at times seems like it freezes so you have to turn it off and restart the...
