Reliable large BBQ with plenty of heat output

I've owned my Everdure for 3 years now. I purchased it for $650 (normally $999) from Bayside BBQ & Outdoor (Wynnum, Brisbane). Putting it together takes a bit of work, but following the instructions and taking my time it came together quite well. I...

Bad

This was an expensisve BBQ which I bought 2 years ago. The memeory of the construction still haunts me (I'm pretty handy usually). I keep it outside under a vinal cover (Canberra), rust is now eveident on the body which is dissapointing. While it cooks...

Electronic ignition still works well, the hood is higher than some other brands. It cooks OK

Difficult to put together, some enamel found it's way inside the attached nuts, overall design is not well though out and has excessive screws and a lack of supporting structure.

All covered models have same design fault.

bq, what you pay for is what you get, spend a little or spend a lot, the finished Sunday bbq is only as good as the bloke behind the tongs. There are better bbq's than Everdure, and there are worse. No matter what bbq you buy, it will take several...

It is a Barbeque.

Excellent

ooking to pay the extra and get a Weber instead. My rating is based on my cost, deduct 3 if it was full price.

Easy to light (electronic), looks good, puts out a lot of heat, an excellant side burner

Plate and grill cast iron - should be vitreous at the RRP ; Can not clean the inside of the hood because of the way it rolls back ; Does not have a gas guage

All Everdure covered bbq's have the same design fault. The hood rotates back from a point half way from back to front, and when raised, the front of the lid stops half way from back to front over the hotplates. This means that smoke and heat from the...

Good

Generally all round not a bad BBQ for the price (700$ odd). Bit over board with an RRP of 900$ however. Takes a little effort to build and set up, however nothing that a drink and mate cant make easier (just make sure you fire it up as payment for the...

Looks, general build quality, easy light (start), decent finish. ; Easy conversion with Everdure conversion kit (did inlude all jets, and hose).

Not terrific build quality for the $$$ (not bad however). ; Hot plate/grill is only cast iron. ; Hood requires a little effort to clean.

Excellent

At the RRP of $999, I definately would not buy this BBQ as it is well overpriced. I found mine however for $799 (add $50 if you want it delivered, pick up OK) already assembled plus a genuine cover worth $129 plus 12 bottles of wine worth about $120 so...

We absolutely love this BBQ. It is fantastic to cook on and also clean. The hood allows for roating and baking to perfection. If you want a good looking and great quality BBQ then this is the one for you. It can also be converted to natural gas. The...

Great looking, great cooking

Don't get the conversion kit from Everdure (does not include hose from regulator to BBQ), Got conversion hoses and regulator and jets from Gameco in Auburn (far cheaper than Everdures, just take the LP gas hose and the jet size (from compliance plate...

No harder than other BBQs to put together.

Unconventional Plate size and gas connection for conversion to Natural Gas
