Anker's cheaper wireless headphones are the better deal

The standard Anker Zolo Liberty don't have the extra features of their step-up sibling (the Liberty Plus), but they're arguably the more likeable of the two models.

The Zolo Liberty are totally wireless earphones that offer decent sound for their price. They're sweatproof and include a charging case that delivers as much battery life as the AirPods' charging case.

Aside from the decent price, they're otherwise pretty generic.

The Anker Zolo Liberty do just enough for the price to make them recommendable totally wireless earphones.

Anker's top totally wireless earphones don't top the AirPods

At their early-bird price of $99, the Anker Zolo Liberty Plus was a good deal. But a price hike makes them less attractive.

The Zolo Liberty are totally wireless earphones that offer a strong feature set and good sound at their price point. They're sweatproof and include a charging case that delivers twice as much battery life as the AirPods charging case.

May not fit some people's ears securely. If you can't get a secure fit, sound will suffer badly. Cost almost as much as the AirPods.

The Anker Zolo Liberty Plus can be a very good totally wireless headphone, but it won't fit some people's ears -- and that's a problem.

Anker Zolo Liberty+ Truly Wireless Review

The Anker Zolo Liberty+ are acceptable truly wireless in-ears. They are very portable and easy to carry around, but their bud design is a bit bulkier than averag...

Decent audio reproduction.;Breathable and portable for sports.;Durable build.

Bulky earbud design.;Not the most stable option.;Short continuous playtime.

Anker Zolo Liberty+ wireless earphones Review

Offering IPX5 water resistance and 3.5-hour battery life (with an additional 48 hours provided by charging case), the compact Zolo Liberty+ earphones seem to find quite a sweet spot, selling for $149.99...

Snug, comfortable fit ; Decent sound quality ; Large capacity charging case ; Bluetooth 5.0 delivers solid connection

No on-board volume controls ; Buttons inconsistent with tactility ; Latency issues apparent when streaming video ; Not very stylish

Zolo Liberty+ Truly Wireless Headphones review: Fantastic battery life but mediocre audio

These earbuds have a long-lasting battery, but come up short on sound.

Exceptional 48 Hour battery life with charging case ; Multiple fit options ; Sweat resistant ; Easy to pair with music source

Only 3.5 hours of use between charges ; Frequent connectivity issues ; Muddy audio, with little separation ; Audio lag experienced while watching video

Despite offering extraordinary battery life, the Zolo Liberty+'s less than stellar audio performance and minor-but-frequent connectivity issues make them difficult to recommend.
