Atomic Floyd SuperDarts Titanium

These SuperDarts are super-sharp, for good and bad

Great bass response ; Detailed treble ; More comfortable than old SuperDarts

Upper-treble bump is tiring and not that well integrated ; Prone to sibilance ; Non-removable cable

Like the original SuperDarts, the SuperDarts Titanium are audiophile-grade, but make some questionable decisions with their tuning that mean they won't be too everyone's .

£200 earphones. Hard as nails and with ultra-sharp detail to match.

Excellent build quality, Superb low-bass slam and weight, Ultra-high clarity

Aggressive treble is tiring, Lack mid-range warmth, Not super-comfortable, Non-removable cable

Atomic Floyd SuperDarts in-ear headphones review

High-end ear buds pack a hefty deep bass punch with impeccable sound quality

Impeccable audio ; Edgy design ; Comfortable fit

Slightly pricey ; Volume control placing ; New style carry pouch

Atomic Floyd SuperDarts

Give them a whirl if big bass is your thing, and you like a lot of treble in your music

Nice build ; Detailed midrange

Overwhelming bass ; Hard edge to treble

At £200 we expect a near-flawless balance across the entire frequency range, but the SuperDarts don’t deliver that. If big bass is your thing, and you like a lot of treble in your music, then by all means give them a whirl – but we can’t recommend them...

Atomic Floyd SuperDarts Titanium review

Atomic Floyd is a relatively new company, founded 2009 in the UK by ex-Philips man James Strong. After our initial listening to a sample of the brand's latest flagship earphones, the SuperDarts Titanium, we met with Strong to chat and find out more.

Atomic Floyd’s fixation with high-tech materials, showy precision engineering and gamer-style advertising copy is all evident in the SuperDarts Titanium earphones, with less expertise seemingly poured into the core acoustic principles. They sound...

The SuperDarts Titanium +Remote are a well constructed pair of in-ears, but they're not the most comfortable

Atomic Floyd SuperDarts review: Time you bought some proper earphones?

Buying earphones is a right minefield. You start out your music-listening career with whatever came with your player of choice, then graduate to something a bit more noise-cancelly, then you start buying buds that cost around £30-£60. Then these...

Update: Atomic Floyd SuperDarts + Remote

UPDATE: Atomic Floyd, though distributors Noisy Motel, took the SuperDarts back after reading this review and sent us a new pair in the belief that the original pair were defective. They were right – the second pair had no sign of the muddy,...

Beautifully made; excellent audio across the range

Heavy; slight cable noise; some might find the silicone tips don’t keep the earpieces in properly

We’ve been highly critical of these earphones because, at this price, they should be a lot better. Makeno mistake, they’re beautifully made and the sound is good, but there’s a lack of the clarity, balance and general musicality you should get for...
