Bang and Olufsen BeoPlay H7 Black

I found it a pleasure to wear. It weighs in at 9.9 ounces or 280 grams, which puts it somewhere between lightweight and heavy. By comparison Bose's SoundLink Around-ear Wireless Headphones II weighs 5.27 ounces, or 149 grams. However, that headphone...

The Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H7 has a sleek, sturdy design, with a metal and leather headband and plush earcups, not to mention excellent sound for Bluetooth. It also features touch controls in the right earcup and a replaceable rechargeable battery that...

It's fairly expensive, and we'd like to see a better case and dual microphones (for cell-phone calls) at this price point.

Apart from some small flaws, the BeoPlay is an excellent wireless headphone that's very comfortable, well built, looks good on your head, and matches up well versus the competition.

Bang and Olufsen's BeoPlay H7 review: One badass Bluetooth headphone

Although it carries a lofty list price of $450, B&O's first around-ear Bluetooth headphone is quite fetching -- and sounds quite good, too.

B&O BeoPlay H7 review: Not at the top of its game

Headphones have been passing through the office in abundance of late, so when the Bang & Olufsen H8 over-ear cans arrived we were expecting something special. The Danish company's top-end H8 cans are some of the best we've heard, but can the step-down...

Comfortable for long periods of wear, classic B&O design and build, sound fairly good

Loose fit, quiet Bluetooth, expensive, lack bass and impact compared to rivals and B&O H8

Bang & Olufsen has achieved a great looking set of headphones in the H7. Problem is, for their £329 price tag there are far better performers out there - and we would certainly pay the extra for the step-up H8 headphones within the company’s range.

B&O Beoplay H7 review

  (Rating Hidden)

The B&O Beoplay H7 wireless headphones are aimed at serious audiophiles, costing around the same as an iPad or TV. So, the price is premium, but is the sound? We took them to our lab to find out.

Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H7 wireless headphones review

The Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H7 is the latest pair of cans from audio specialist Bang & Olufsen, and although they're mighty pricey at £329, they also look the part. Do they sound any good, though? We put a pair to the test to find out.

The Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H7 headphones certainly look a cut above average, with a mixture of leather and aluminium used to great effect. It's not just about looks, either, as those leather cups are incredibly comfortable, and the use of aluminium...

There are a couple of issues though. The touch sensitive buttons on the outside of the cups are definitely hit and miss - they're excellent when they work, but they can also feel awkward and sometimes a swipe won't register, either

There's a lot to like about the Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H7 - they provide an incredible sound, pack in great wireless skills, have a design and quality that matches the price tag and they're also comfortable. It's an excellent all-round package, and...

Review: Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H7 headphones

Everyone has a pair of headphones, and some of us have several, but few spend more than $500 on walk around cans. Bang & Olufsen thinks it might be able to tempt you with something that doesn't just look premium, it sounds it too.

Bright and loud; Pretty good looking; Excellent construction; Touch controls make the headphone much sleeker than cans with physical buttons; Virtually no difference in sound whether wired or wireless; Replaceable battery; Includes a soft case in the box;

Controls can be really fussy; Lacks noise cancellation; No wired remote included in the box; Headphone lacks a neck/head sensor and will keep playing music when you pull them off your head; Expensive;

These need to come in pillow form, which they kind of are already.

Every day is a soundtrack. I sit behind mixers, microphones, bands, entertainment....I listen to sound on a constant basis (as do most of us). The H7's are the best company for just that. I have had these, oh for all of eight days and I can not put...

A very good pair of headphones

I don't subscribe to fashion in headphones and still use a classic pair of electrostatic Stax ones for corded listening to hi fi. But I was looking for a good pair of cordless for listening to TV, movies and discs late at night. These fit the bill,...
