Beats by Dr. Dre Powerbeats

The Beats by Dr. Dre Powerbeats earphones offer booming bass in an exercise-friendly design, but are more expensive than some comparable competition.

Deep bass response, powerful audio output. Secure-fitting, flexible, sweat-resistant design. Inline microphone and remote for Apple iOS devices.

Overpriced. Ear-to-ear fit can be inconsistent.

Powerbeats by Dr. Dre (Black) review

Headphones aimed at the fashionable consumer are not in short supply these days, but one would think that the last place people are concerned about gadget style would be the gym. However, plenty of manufacturers are banking on the belief that you want...

The Powerbeats by Dr. Dre Sports Headphones will offer a secure fit for the average user, and the design lends itself well to jogging and other outdoor activities. The set includes some useful extras such as a hard-sided case and a remote and mic...

Although the Powerbeats are capable of producing bass, the fit and design don't allow the user to fully enjoy it. They are expensive for fitness earphones, and they don't seem particularly durable or sweat-resistant.

The Powerbeats by Dr. Dre Sports Headphones are a reasonable option for style-conscious runners with money to burn, but most fitness-minded listeners would be better served by other options on the market.

Beats by Dr. Dre Powerbeats Review

The best sounding earbuds around that can stand up to the most rigorous workouts

Secure fit, great sound quality

Expensive, can get in the way of sunglasses

The Beats by Dr. Dre Powerbeats combine high end athletic performance with impressive sound quality to create a near perfect bundle of Bluetooth goodness, but that goodness does come with a correspondingly high price tag.

Beats by Dr. Dre Powerbeats

Beats by Dr. Dre makes so many different headphone, earphone, and speaker options at this point, it's taking some time to test them all—hence, here's a semi-belated look at the Powerbeats. This exercise earphone pair has all the features you should...

Powerbeats by Dr. Dre Review

The fitness-friendly earphones.

Sporty design, great fit on the ears

Bass isn’t as good as the rest of the Dre lineup, Pricey for earphones you'll probably only use while excercising

Overall, Powerbeats by Dr. Dre are a great set of earphones that provide above average sound quality. However, they’re the kind of earphones that you’ll probably only want to wear for outdoor activities and for just that purpose, it comes for a rather...

Powerbeats by Dr. Dre Sport Headphones Review

I don't workout. Period. So it takes a lot for me to even be tempted to do this task and the Powerbeats by dr. dre have actually forced me to get my butt off the couch and walk the treadmill instead of to Dunkin' Donuts.

Ideal headphones for hardcore athletes. Flexible earhooks that are sweat resistant and UV protected. Great sound reproduction that doesn't get degraded when moving or exercising

Only two additional ear-tips are included. Bass reproduction is just average. Might break if shoved in your pocket just because of the shape, so make sure to keep it protected in the included case

The Powerbeats are an impressive addition to the beats by dr. dre and Monster collaboration. They feel good, look good, and sound good. For those who have wanted a sturdy pair of workout in-ear speakers, they may have just found their perfect pair. The...

Powerbeats by Dr. Dre earphones

Dr. Dre Powerbeats review: 'Sports' headphones that are sturdy but sometimes uncomfortable

Good design and build quality ; Clear sound quality ; Good on-ear clamping force

Uncomfortable and stiff earpieces ; Bass is a little weak

Monster's Powerbeats by Dr. Dre sports earphones stick to your ears well and are sturdy enough to survive a few accidental drops - but we found them a little uncomfortable. The headphones' sound quality isn't quite worth the $229 asking price, though -...
