Beyerdynamic T 51 i

The Beyerdynamic T 51 i is a smartly designed pair of on-ear headphones that sound fantastic, and is priced to reflect that.

Excellent, balanced audio performance with deep bass response and well-defined highs. Lightweight and very comfortable. High-quality carrying case.

Hardwired cable. Pricey. Those seeking mega-bass sound might be underwhelmed.

If the balanced, crisp, full-sounding T 51 i sounds ideal to you, but you'd rather have an over-the-ear pair, check out the excellent Sony MDR-1A. The Bowers & Wilkins P5 Series 2 offers a slightly less crisp, more mids-focused, but nonetheless...
