Bose QuietComfort 3

The Bose QuietComfort 3 noise-canceling headphones are smaller—but not necessarily better—than their predecessor.

Very good noise canceling. Small form factor. 20-hour rechargeable battery. Good sound quality. Very comfortable.

Doesn't work unless switched on and battery has power. Ear pads will make your ears sweat. Case is nearly as bulky as that of the QC2. Expensive.

these headphones are very comfortable, but personally i prefer circumaural designs (which go around your ear instead of on top of them). the pads did get a little moist after about an hour of continuous use, but i didn't really feel that i needed a...

Bose QuietComfort headphone review

Bose QuietComfort 3 Whether or not you think they're overpriced, Bose's luxuriously designed QuietComfort models have set the standard for premium noise-canceling headphones . As their model number indicates, the $349 QuietComfort 3s are the third...

Bose's QuietComfort 3 headphones are a smaller and more compact follow-up to the QuietComfort 2s. They offer a more compact design, extracomfortable cushy foam earpieces, a rechargeable battery, full sound, and effective noise-canceling circuitry, and...

The Bose QuietComfort 3s are even more expensive than their predecessors. And when the battery dies, so does the music.

With the QuietComfort 3s, Bose has done a remarkable job of shrinking its popular noise-canceling headphones while achieving similarly impressive sound quality--but that engineering feat doesn't come cheap.

Bose QuietComfort 3 Headphones Review - Intro

The Bose QuietComfort 3 headphones are the on-ear sequel to the wildly popular QuietComfort 2s. And like many movie sequels, it's much of the same thing; good active noise cancellation, but only middling sound quality. In terms of qualities, these...

These headphones look great and come with a case full of goodies.; The noise cancellation blocks out a lot of low frequency sounds ; The QC3s are very comfortable, and their case helps manage them on the go ; The QC3s are like a more compact version of...

Compared to the QC2s, the QC3s offer far fewer goodies ; In just about every other category, the QC3s underachieved.; The case will still take up a lot of room in your bag ; The QC3s offer slightly better audio quality than the QC2s, but not so much to...

Bose QuietComfort 3

Bose is at the leading edge of noise-canceling headphones and they have been for quite a while. Their earlier models of the QuietComfort were a huge success despite their costly price. Their latest model, the Bose QuietComfort 3, has some added...

Very comfortable ; Excellent noise cancellation ; Good design & included case

Audio quality is not perfect, but still above-average

Bose QuietComfort 3

The Bose QuietComfort 3 headphones are the on-ear sequel to the wildly popular QuietComfort 2s. Other than wear style, the QC3s look very similar to the QC2s. You'll find foam padding on the ear cups and band, all of which is covered with a very soft...

Other than the cancellation and its hang-ups, the QC3s offer a lot in terms of aesthetics and usability. They're sleek, reserved enough to not embarrass you at work, and certainly look like an expensive pair of headphones. With a closed-back design and...

Bose QuietComfort 3 Noise-Canceling Headphones Review and Prices

Bose still produces its excellent QuietComfort 2 headphones, but its QuietComfort 3 are ideal if you desire a smaller, more portable design. The QuietComfort 3 headphones have significantly smaller earcups that fit snugly on your ears, instead of...

Smaller and more portable than the QuietComfort 2, effective noise-reduction and cancellation

Expensive, still larger and heavier than most other headphones

Bose QuietComfort 3 (QC3) Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones

After releasing its first QuietComfort Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones for travellers more than a decade ago, and especially since the release of its even more popular QuietComfort 2 sequel three years ago, Bose Corporation has been a moving...

Bose's first "on-ear" noise-cancelling headphone design, applying active noise-cancellation and comfort technologies taken from its earlier QuietComfort headphones to a smaller and equally comfortable alternative. Includes rechargeable battery and wall...

Smaller earpieces provide far less passive noise isolation than earlier QC2 design, resulting in listener's ability to still hear external loud noises while QC3 headphones are on ; not as good for noisy motorized travel applications. Overall sound...

But whereas the QC2s are engrossing enough to essentially make the world around you disappear almost immediately, the QC3s won't, unless you have small ears, and even then, probably not as effectively as the QC2s. The QC2's bigger cups and their...
